Meet The International Committee of Honour of "Roses Charitable Association"

Welcome!

"Around the world, the status of women regardless race, social background, religion is changing. In many ways; it is being changed by women themselves. One of the most effective ways for women to reconstruct their families, rebuild their lives, and strengthen their communities is through empowering them, through giving them the chance to express themselves, through helping them to believe in the realizations of their dreams despite hardships and obstacle of everyday life . Such are to be found in any community regardless race, confession, age, social and material status: single mothers successfully upbringing their children, young women- leaders assuming their responsibilities; students achieving outstanding academic results; young sportswomen to break new Olympic records, or older generation providing wisdom for their families. Those, overcoming challenges every day, are our real heroes and you do not have to search very hard to find them. Just look around you. Such courageous and determined women inspire us, and to pay tribute to their efforts we decided to create “Roses Association”. The name itself finds its roots in the belief that every woman is a beautiful seed, and that is only through constant care, protection and help that she can grow into a beautiful flower, a rose. We hope that through a set of activities ,undergone by our association, we would contribute to the harmonious and peaceful world building process."

Homayra Sellier, President of “Innocence in Danger Organization" and devoted mother.

An international, non-profit association created in response to the recommendations of the UNESCO expert meeting convened in January 1999 on Sexual Abuse of Children, Child Pornography and Pedophilia on the Internet, in order to pursue the objectives of the Action Plan adopted by the experts to combat sexual abuse of children.

Innocence in Danger operates in 29 countries throughout the world, with partners who share the same objectives. IID thus brings together militants, Internet specialists, jurists, political decision-makers, businessmen, media and national action groups to sensitize world opinion on the increasing problems of sexual abuse of children.

Innocence in Danger represents an action force to sensitize and catalyze, educate and inform governmental and non-governmental bodies, European and international intergovernmental bodies, business enterprises, and the general public - schools, community associations, the youth.
